01) Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park
The third largest national park in Germany is the Baltic Sea National Park, covering 786 km². Over 80 % of the national park is made up of the Baltic Sea itself and the “Bodden”, the salty lagoons of the Baltic Sea.
02) West beach
The 14 km long western beach in the National Park is wild and constantly changing. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Germany and Europe.


03) Lighthouse Darßer Ort
The lighthouse Darßer Ort is the only active lighthouse in the region and has been in operation since 1849. At the base of the lighthouse is a natural history museum.
04) Longest sea bridge in the Baltic Sea
At 720 metres, the Prerower See Bridge is the longest on the Baltic coast. At the end is the newly horseshoe-shaped island harbor. From the observation deck, visitors can look across
the Baltic Sea to Hiddensee.

07) „Zeesboot“ – living tradition
A “Zeesboot” is a traditional sailing boat from the Baltic Sea region, previously used for coastal fishing. It is known for its brown sails and is suitable for shallow waters. Today it is mostly used for leisure, regattas or tourism.
