I have lived too! Letters of a friendship
Musical reading with:Elisabeth Richter-Kubbutat, voiceSusanne Stock, accordion
"Where are you?"
The letters of Astrid Lindgren and Luise Hartung bear witness to a very touching, encouraging process, the growth of a friendship.
After the Second World War, the singer Luise Hartung made it a matter close to her heart to give young people new, spiritual impulses through her work in local politics at the Berlin Youth Welfare Office. She introduced Monday readings in libraries and the Swedish author's books created a new tone: the feelings and dignity of a child took center stage. "Mio, mein Mio" was published 70 years ago.
To this day, the lively exchange between these two courageous, headstrong women remains astonishingly topical.
"Sometimes I ask myself why I live, why people live at all. But I only tell you that...If you know why people live, then write and tell me."
