Meeting point harbor with Ignaz Netzer

For half a century now, the "sympathetically gifted entertainer" (FAZ) has been a welcome guest at major festivals and smaller clubs alike.
With Ignaz Netzer, the winner of the German Blues Award is coming to Wieck a. Darß
His new solo CD "When the Music is over" with exclusively original compositions was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.
Ignaz Netzer is regarded as one of the most authentic representatives of gospel and blues.
The "Heilbronner Stimme" recently said that it was only a matter of time before Mississippi paddle steamers were spotted on the Neckar because of him, and the "Saaner Anzeiger" from Switzerland said: "The whitest black man in all of Germany." The international press heaped superlatives on him: The specialist magazine JAZZ Podium, for example, described him as the "grand master of classic blues", while the Süddeutsche newspaper even called him a "blues magician".
He founded his first band at the tender age of 13 and has since given countless concerts in many European countries, including with blues legends such as Alexis Korner, Champion Jack Dupree, Louisiana Red and across genres with Barbara Dennerlein and Gerhard Polt. He has released 17 recordings and one DVD.
